Volunteerism and Spirit of BC programs

Whether it's for one hour, one day or one year, British Columbians who volunteer make a difference.

2010 Legacies Now created two volunteer programs that strengthened community pride and the volunteer sector's ability to achieve excellence:  VolWeb.ca and Spirit of BC.  VolWeb.ca, now managed by the BC Games Society in partnership with Volunteer BC, has grown to over 12,000 registered volunteers, and has matched 9,000 volunteers with events across BC and Canada.

From 2003-2010, Spirit of BC, a province-wide initiative, promoted community partnership, innovation, pride and excellence leading up to the 2010 Winter Games.
