Spirit of 2010 Hockey Tournament

The Spirit of 2010 Hockey Tournament is a province-wide celebration of healthy living, amateur sport and community spirit.

Supported by the Province of BC, 2010 Legacies Now, the BC Minor Hockey Association and the Vancouver Canucks, the Spirit of 2010 Hockey Tournament incorporates existing spring hockey tournaments under the Spirit of 2010 banner and provides each tournament and player with souvenirs.

Participating tournaments receive:

Spirit of 2010 arena banner
Spirit of 2010 trophy for the winning team
Spirit of 2010 hockey jersey to award one player showing exemplary team spirit and fair play
$200 advertising fee to include a Spirit of 2010 ad in the tournament program
Souvenir poster for each player
Commemorative Spirit of 2010 hockey puck for each player

In 2009, the Spirit of 2010 Hockey Tournament involved 228 tournaments and more than 47,000 young hockey players in 97 communities throughout BC.
