British Columbia Sport Tourism Network
Building local tourism in the lead up to the Games
In the years leading up to the 2010 Winter Games, 2010 Legacies Now and Tourism BC facilitated the BC Sport Tourism Network. The Network provides a unique way for business, sport, education and tourism organizations in BC to share knowledge and resources, find opportunities to further the growth of local tourism.
Network links members from across BC
2010 Legacies Now and Tourism BC created the Sport Tourism Network to use the 2010 Winter Games as an opportunity to support community development and local tourism opportunities. Tourism BC continues to facilitate the BC Sport Tourism Network, which is comprised of more than 60 communities across the province. Members share information and ideas, and work cooperatively to support sport tourism in British Columbia.
