Funding support for the creation of exceptional BC art

Arts Partners in Creative Development (APCD) was a strategic investment partnership assisting BC organizations in creating and developing new works, with the intent of producing, presenting or exhibiting them at the highest standard.

Investment to build a legacy of arts and culture

Between 2007 and 2010, Arts Partners in Creative Development (APCD) provided funding support to BC arts and cultural organizations developing works at the highest professional standards.

With a total investment of more than $6 million over three years, APCD facilitated the creation of new work to showcase both locally and worldwide. Organizations received funding to create, commission and develop original work in the performing, visual, media and literary arts.

Partners in APCD included the Province of British Columbia, Canada Council for the Arts/Conseil des Arts du Canada, City of Vancouver, Vancouver Foundation, Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) and 2010 Legacies Now.
