Arts programs
Between 2004 and 2010, we worked closely with the arts and cultural sector to increase participation in the arts, encourage innovation and partnerships, and assist the sector in becoming more self-sustaining.
Through our arts funding opportunities, we made the arts more accessible for people of all ages. Our funding support has ranged from educational programs for schoolchildren to community cultural development initiatives led by local government and arts organizations. We also invested in community projects that created a more sustainable arts and cultural sector and supported local organizations and individuals to produce works at the highest standards.
