Director of Communications

Karen brings more than 15 years of experience as a communications professional to her role as Communications Director for 2010 Legacies Now.

Prior to joining 2010 Legacies Now in March 2006, she led the communication team with the Province of BC’s Ministry of Economic Development, which included issues management for the BC Olympic and Paralympic Games Secretariat and a role with BC - Canada Place at the Torino 2006 Winter Olympics.

For Community

Her volunteer commitments have included work with the Mary Manning Society, Vancouver Curling Club and Boys and Girls Clubs.

Background

Karen's past experience includes work with the Ministry of Advanced Education, University of British Columbia, the Province of Manitoba, a telecommunications firm in Auckland, New Zealand, and the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
