Susan Archibald
Managing Director, Marketing & Revenue Generation
Susan brings over 25 years of marketing experience to 2010 Legacies Now. In 1989, she was part of the team from the BC Dairy Foundation recognized as the Marketer of the Year, by the BC Chapter of the American Marketing Association.
Background
Susan graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Masters Degree in Sport Management and Administration. In addition to working in the Dairy Industry, she has held marketing positions with such notable organizations as the Vancouver Whitecaps, the University of British Columbia and the Rick Hansen Man in Motion World Tour.
In 1995, Susan moved to Indonesia where she worked as a marketing and communications consultant with an international forestry research and policy institute. She was then seconded to the United Nations where she assisted with the first democratic elections held in Indonesia.
Upon returning to Canada in 2000, Susan worked with the Mark Anthony Group on the Mike’s Hard Lemonade and Mission Hill Family Estate portfolios.
Community
Susan has volunteered for numerous organizations including the BC Chapter of the American Marketing Association where she lead the Vision Conference team on three separate occassions. She is a former competitive diver and coach, and volunteer learn-to-swim instructor. She created the Where Would You Be Without University project in Indonesia which raised enough money to enable 69 university students to continue their studies during the Asian economic crisis, and which continues to operate today.
