Local Sport Program Development Fund
The Local Sport Program Development Fund aims to attract more people to community sport and provides funds to municipalities, sport organizations and Aboriginal communities.
The Local Sport Program Development Fund (LSDF) will provide up to $2,500 to support new and expanded sport participation opportunities initiated in BC communities.
More than 500 youth will have access to new opportunities in soccer, surfing, hockey, and many more sports, as the LSDF announces its first 14 funding recipients from across the province.

Apply for funding
The next deadline for applications is January 15, 2009. Applications may be submitted, individually or in partnership, by community sport organizations, municipalities, or Aboriginal communities.
