$1.5M TO DEVELOP ARTISTIC WORKS AS CULTURAL LEGACIES FOR BRITISH COLUMBIA

Vancouver, BC (July 17, 2008): From Japanese killer hornets' juice to dancing Zambonis, and from urban aerial dance to farm theatre performed on horse-drawn wagons, Arts Partners in Creative Development (APCD) is pleased to invest in 16 diverse creative works for a total of $1.5 million.

The announcement was made today by the six APCD partners: the Province of British Columbia, City of Vancouver, Canada Council for the Arts, Vancouver Foundation, Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) and 2010 Legacies Now.
