Creative Communities FAQ
The following questions and answers refer to the Creative Communities funding program from 2010 Legacies Now.
What happens to my application once I have sent it?
Your application will be evaluated for eligibility and then processed.
Your documents will be reviewed by a three member panel approximately one month after we have received your application.
When will I be notified of the outcome of our application?
Approximately 8-10 weeks after we have received your application, you will receive a letter outlining the results of the assessment, or you may receive a phone call requesting additional information.
If I am successful, what happens next?
Initially, you will be sent a letter advising you of your success. We will then process a Contribution Agreement between 2010 Legacies Now and the applicant.
Upon receipt of a signed copy of the Contribution Agreement from you, we will send out a cheque for up to 80 per cent of the funding promised. Within 60 days of completing your project, you need to fill out and send us a final report and final financial statement. When these documents have been received and accepted we will send you the remaining contribution.
When are the next application deadlines?
There are no deadlines for Creative Communities – applications are accepted at any time and are assessed monthly.
I can't open the PDF or the document appears blank on my screen?
Files in PDF format require the latest version of Acrobat PDF Reader. Sometimes certain browsers and Acrobat versions do not "play well together," resulting in blank pages. If downloading the latest version does not work then try saving the files onto your computer and opening the downloaded copy of the file.
