LEAP BC
Resources support healthy child development
LEAP BC is a set of resources for families, caregivers and early learning practitioners, integrating Literacy, Education, Activity and Play.
LEAP BC resources
Each LEAP BC resource focuses on learning through play and supports healthy child development through physical movement, healthy eating, language development and early literacy:
Move™ – integrates physical activity, early language development and healthy eating for infants and toddlers, from birth to 3 years of age.
Hop™ – same focus as Move but geared towards preschoolers from 3 to 5 years of age.
Talk™ – a series of illustrated cards with activities encouraging early literacy and language development in infants and toddlers.
Food Flair™ – activities to help create environments that support healthy eating for young children from birth to age 5.
